Stories, reels and messaging in one social app.

Share a moment, discover a creator and continue a conversation. Whisperly gives everyday updates and direct conversations their own place, with anonymous questions alongside them.

Use a story for a moment

Stories work well for temporary updates: a glimpse of something you are making, a thought from your day or a moment you want your audience to see. They let you share without turning every update into a permanent statement on your profile.

Before publishing, consider what the story shows about you and the people around you. Temporary content can still be copied by someone who sees it. Review the audience controls available in the app and avoid sharing another person's private details without permission.

Use a reel to show something in motion

A reel can show a process, a performance or a short idea in a way a paragraph cannot. Creators can use short videos to demonstrate a technique or share a finished piece; viewers can discover people through that content and choose whose work to follow.

Give a reel enough context to make sense on its own. A clear subject, a readable caption and consideration for people watching without sound can make the content more useful. These are creative suggestions, not a promise of a particular reach.

Use a post when the idea needs room

A post can combine text and media to explain something, share an update or start a discussion. It is useful for content that benefits from a profile context: an introduction, a project update or a reflection you want people to associate with you.

Continue in messages or invite a question

Some conversations fit better away from a public post. Whisperly supports direct messaging and, where recipients allow it, anonymous conversation requests. Review your identity choice before starting. Read about the messaging options.

For a focused prompt, use questions. A viewer might ask how a reel was made or why you chose a topic. You can invite curiosity without asking people to disclose more than they want.

A practical flow for a new project

  1. Introduce the project in a post with a clear description.
  2. Share a short story while you work on it.
  3. Use a reel to show a result or process.
  4. Invite questions about the part your audience might want to understand.
  5. Use messages for conversations that are better handled directly.
